District 1
Candidate
Colorado State House of Representatives
(R)
Tom
Thomason is a fourth generation Colorado
native. He moved into District 1 in
1985. Tom and Lori understand the daily
challenges of raising three young
children, managing a household budget,
and dealing with the increasing costs of
food and gas.
Tom Thomason runs a small family owned
business that provides worker
compensation management to businesses in
Colorado. Since he was 22 years old, he
worked his way up learning the business,
eventually managing the company in 2004.
Throughout his career, Tom has worked
with both state and local economic
development programs to create jobs and
grow local economies. These experiences
have provided Tom with knowledge of what
economic programs are effective in
generating a strong economy. Tom
Thomason also owns a working cattle
ranch that employs three families. He
has a unique perspective for both urban
and rural economies. He understands the
economic challenges that his employees
and their families face.
As a legislator, Tom Thomason will make
solving the challenges that working
families face a top priority. He has
pledged to work with both Democrat and
Republican members to reduce the
increasing economic burdens on families.
His primary goal as a legislator will be
to get things done that will help
people, not special interests or
political parties.
Tom Thomason is a candidate that is
running for office to solve problems
like the rising costs of living, health
care, affordable housing. Like many other voters, Tom
is frustrated with the partisan power
struggle that prevents the state
legislature from solving problems that
affect all Coloradans.
Tom Thomason is not accepting donations
from lobbyists or special interests to
ensure his constituents that his votes
in the legislature are not influenced by
any special interests. |
